David Ramey and his wife Carla founded Ramey Wine Cellars in 1996, following sixteen years as a Sonoma winemaker establishing Matanzas Creek and Chalk Hill wineries in the marketplace, then six years in the Napa Valley as winemaker for Dominus Estate and reshaping Girard Winery into Rudd Oakville.
